Two OSU teamates,sportscaster among 10 dead
DENVER, Colo., Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Two members of the Oklahoma State University men's basketball team, an Oklahoma City sportscaster and the team trainer were among 10 people killed Saturday when their chartered plane crashed in a snowstorm about 20 miles south of Denver shortly after takeoff.
The plane crashed near the town of Byers, on its way back to Stillwater, Oklahoma after the Cowboys' basketball game earlier in the day in Boulder against the University of Colorado.
