Memories of Fr. Krikor Hayrabedian

Although Der Krikor was known to me since his arrival in the United States, a different, dedicated person was revealed to me during our two "tours of duty" with HAVAD, the Mission of Faith under the auspices of the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church in America, in 1993 and 1994.

At first he struck me as a quiet, reserved individual, which he most certainly was, but not the calm, forceful clergyman that was revealed during our visits to the various small villages in the countryside of Armenia and Artsakh. There, in those ...
