CYCLOSPORA Is Back, Watch The Raspberries

Acting New York City Health Commissioner Benjamin Mojica, M.D. announced that the Health Department is investigating nearly 40 recent cases of Cyclospora, a food-borne illness which also struck New Yorkers last spring.

He indicated that there is growing evidence from outbreak investigations throughout the country that fresh raspberries imported from Guatemala are the likely cause and advised New Yorkers to avoid eating them.
