TAS: Mawson s hut maintenance trip a success

HOBART, Jan 18 AAP - An expedition to save Sir Douglas Mawson's historic hut was declared
a success today as the team returned from an icy summer in Antarctica.

The six men and two women of the AAP Mawson's Huts Foundation expedition arrived in
Hobart yesterday after spending two weeks carrying out urgent repair work on the hut.

The site includes Mawson's main hut and several out-buildings in various states of repair.
