John Griffin's boots were made for walking, but the Mountain View girls basketball coach found another use for them Friday.
The Thunder's 42-36 overtime win over Battle Ground was the type of game that inspires an array of animated sideline gestures from a coach. As the Class 4A Greater St. Helens League game hung on a knife's edge, Griffin turned the Battle Ground gym into his stomping ground.
