Tribute to Count Basie new beginning for tenor saxophonist Frank Foster

Renowned tenor saxophonist, arranger, composer and long-time band leader for jazz great William "Count" Basie, Frank Foster conducted a glowing tribute concert to Basie titled "Swingin' The Blues for Count Basie," in Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center. Artistic director of jazz at Lincoln Center Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra played with brilliance and elan.
