Spring 1997 Issue Of American Legacy Magazine Dedicated To Black History.

The saga of Jackie Robinson's dramatic breakthrough in major-league baseball 50 years ago; the all-black Texas college that whipped the Ivy League in debating; and Chicago's "Bronzeville," a "bubbling cauldron of art, music and commerce," are all featured in the spring 1997 American Legacy, a quarterly magazine published by American Heritage.
