Qld: Long case in court held over until next month

A Queensland court will set a date next month for the committal hearing of the man
charged with lighting the hostel fire in which 15 backpackers died earlier this year.

ROBERT PAUL LONG, 37, has been charged with the murders of Perth twins KELLY JUNE and
STACEY LOUISE SLARKE, 22, in the town of Childers, 300km north of Brisbane.

He is also charged with wilfully and unlawfully setting fire to the Palace Backpackers
