Jewish Community Federation plots future with new strategic plan: Jewish. Community Federation sets course for near future with release of draft of 1997 Strategic Plan; public comment is welcome.

Universal Jewish literacy.

Involvement in the general Cleveland community.

Bringing together the Orthodox and non-Orthodox segments of the community.

Make Federation seem less elitist.

Develop a program to meet survival needs of Jews overseas, and send Clevelanders there to help implement it.
