Rainwater And Williams Call For Unity.
The two men who are defeated in their bids for the helm of the Sacramento Branch NAACP this week called for unity and for a rally around the administration of newly-elected Branch president W. Robbin Ware.
In separate interviews, Clyde Rainwater, longtime community activist, and James Williams, a retired educator, urged those Branch members who voted for them in last weekend's election to get behind the efforts of the new president to make the local NAACP chapter a stable organization.
