Bright heads fast-paced LSU offense into 2000 season

(The Reveille) (U-WIRE) BATON ROUGE, La. -- Things may seem dark for LSU's basketball team without the second overall pick in the 2000 NBA Draft, Stromile Swift, and second round draft pick Jabari Smith. However, there is a bright spot in the form of sophomore point guard Torris Bright.
In his freshman year as a Tiger, the 6-foot-4 Bright, out of Slidell High School, played and started each of LSU's 34 games, just one of two players to achieve that feat last season.
