Qld: Survivor II must abide strict environmental conditions

The reality television program Survivor II must abide by strict environmental conditions
while filming in north Queensland.

According to the Queensland Environment Minister ROD WELFORD, an agreement with the
show's American production company ensures an appropriate level of environmental protection
at the filming site, on a pastoral lease north-west of Ingham.

He says the government recognises the tourism benefits from the international exposure
the program can bring Queensland.
