Bill to Cut Legal Immigration Seen as Unlikely.

Legislation to restrict legal immigrations unlikely to be introduced soon in the 105th Congress, if comments by leaders are anything to go by.

Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott, Republican from Mississippi, said in a speech to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce last week, "I really don't see much prospects of more action in that area, at least not this year."
