Maharashtra Starts Drive for Investment.
Under a plan to facilitate a larger flow of foreign direct investment into Maharashtra, particularly NRI money, the state has offered $5 billion worth of infrastructure-related projects for which all clearances have been obtained.
"We'll be inviting tenders for these projects. These are concrete projects for which the state has given all clearances," Chief Minister Manohar Joshi said here last week.
