Colorectal cancer can be prevented when detected early.
The American Digestive Health Foundation wants people to know that the number three cancer killer of African Americans is very treatable and with early intervention patients have excellent prognosis for survival.
According to the American Cancer Society, cancer will kill 62,670 African Americans this year. Colorectal cancer will claim 6,310 African American lives.
