Analysis: Complaints about Firestone tires continue to pile up

The federal government is raising the number of deaths it believes
are linked to faulty Firestone tires. Forty-two people originally
were thought to have been killed. The government now believes more
than 60 have died, and it says the number could go higher as the investigation
continues. Most of the failures deal with treads coming loose at
high speeds. The Bridgestone-Firestone company has recalled more
