(The University Echo) (U-WIRE) CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. -- After months of rigorous training and practicing, Tennessee-Chattanooga's high-powered offense is ready for takeoff in the 2000 season.

The offense, which has been dubbed "Air Raid 2000," worked hard in the off-season to work out the kinks in preparation for its Aug. 31 season opener against Samford.

Led by new head coach Donnie Kirkpatrick and preseason All-Southern Conference team picks Chris Sanders and Cos DeMatteo, the Mocs are taking aim at their first winning season since 1997.
