Ghost towns offer exciting legends

(The Reveille) (U-WIRE) BATON ROUGE, La. -- The highway rose nearly 4,000 feet and winded through the Sierra Nevada Mountains with nothing for the couple to see on their way to a ghost town but sagebrush, shrubs, an occasional cow and sheep.
They left the highway for a side road that climbed its way through the Sierra Nevada Mountain range at 8,400 feet.
The dry and cold climate swept over the couple as their path led them to a dirt road-three miles to their destination.
