Fed: Ear damage a major problem for call centre operators: union

MELBOURNE, July 27 AAP - Perforated eardrums and long-term hearing problems are besetting
call centre operators, a union said today.
The Australian Services Union (ASU), in a national survey of 650 call centre workers,
found workers suffering in some cases horrific injuries that had allegedly been covered
up by employers.
Hearing injuries labelled "spikes" within the industry left workers suffering pain
