Fed: Labor to refocus on social issues at national conference

CANBERRA, July 27 AAP - The Labor Party will refocus on social issues at its national
conference this weekend, prominent MPs said today.

Opposition finance spokesman Lindsay Tanner said the conference would see some significant
directions unfold for the party.

He said the Hobart conference would be important in moving away from a sole focus on the GST.
