AIR FORCE ACADEMY PREP SCHOOL OPEN TO RESERVISTS

ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. (AFPN) -- Enlisted reservists who want to become an Air Force officer may want to apply to the U.S. Air Force Academy Preparatory School.

Each year the academy offers 85 of its 240 prep school student authorizations to members of the Air Force Reserve Command and Air National Guard to attend the 10-month course, which begins in late July for students ages 17 to 21.

To earn an appointment to the academy, students must complete the prep school, meet academy entrance requirements and be selected by the academy board.
