OPENING STATEMENT Senator Jim Inhofe, Chairman Subcommittee on Clean Air, Wetlands, Private Property & Nuclear Safety

Hearing on NRC Oversight Thursday February 4, 1999

The Hearing will come to order.

First, I would like to recognize the new members of our Subcommittee, Senator's Voinovich, Bennett, and Hutchison, and welcome back our returning members. I plan a very busy Congress, both in Oversight and on Legislation, including both FEMA and Wetlands Authorization Bills. Last Congress we conducted twelve Oversight Hearings and I want to continue our hard work.
