"Shoeless" Joe Jackson Auction

In Chicago today, a collection of items which belonged to legendary
baseball player "Shoeless" Joe Jackson is on display. It's the first
of several exhibitions that Christie's auction house is holding before
the rare pieces go on the block in November. Sports collectors say
the 40 lots will bring high bids, but might not have much of an impact
on recent efforts to induct Jackson into baseball's Hall of Fame.
