BOB EDWARDS, HOST: This is MORNING EDITION. I'm Bob Edwards.
For the second time in three days, President Clinton has used his
state visit to China to promote the cause of human rights.
And for the second time in three days, the Chinese government has
allowed him to speak directly to the Chinese people. President Clinton'
s address today at Beijing University was carried live and unedited
by China's state-run television, as was his frank news conference
with China's President Jiang Zemin on Saturday.
NPR's Vicky O'Hara reports.
