The Fourth of July weekend is traditionally a time when many towns across America hold homecoming celebrations. So I'd like to welcome you to mine: Worcester, Massachusetts. It became a town in 1722, a city in 1848. I'm standing on one of the seven hills which surround this second-largest city in New England.
