OBERSTAR ANNOUNCES ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT GRANT

WASHINGTON -- Congressman Jim Oberstar announced today that the Northeast Entrepreneur Fund, Inc. (NEF) in Virginia has been awarded $285,000 in grants from the Community Development Financial Institutions Program, a division of the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

NEF, a loan fund serving emerging and expanding small businesses in seven counties in Northern Minnesota, received a $250, 000 grant to capitalize its new business loan ...
