Breast cancer is getting a lot of attention in Washington this year, partly because of a new administration and a new Congress which are more interested in the issue, and, partly because of new research. A new report released by an environmental group indicates a possible link between breast cancer and pesticides. The report, which was the subject of a hearing last week on Capitol Hill, is based on the fact that breast cancer is influenced by the hormone estrogen, and the observation that some pesticides can ...
