LINDA WERTHEIMER, Host: Now that Israel has signed agreements with
the PLO and Jordan, Israelis hope they will also be able to reach
an agreement with Syria. The key issue between these two nations
is the territory Israel captured from Syria in the Six Day War of
1967, the Golan Heights. The Golan is strategically located, high
above Israel's agricultural settlements in Galilee in the northern
