BRAZZAVILLE, Sep. 15 (IPS) -- More than a decade of economic
recession is coming to an end in Congo, although it will take some
time before the average Congolese feels the effects of
macro-economic improvements.
"Congo's economic indicators were in the red but now they are
changing to black if they haven't done so already," according to
Minister of Petroleum Resources Benoit Koukebene.
Encouraging words have also come from Western officials. "It's
