Rem Koolhaas wins Pritzker Architecture Prize
LOS ANGELES, April 17 (UPI) -- Rem Koolhaas, a Dutch architect whose work has
been the subject of art museum exhibitions, has been named the winner of the
annual Priztker Architecture Prize.
Koolhaas, 56, designer of such notable public buildings as the Netherlands Dance
Theatre in the Hague, Japan's Nexus Housing, and the planned Seattle Public
Library, was chosen by an international jury of architectural experts and will
receive an award that includes a $100,000 grant during a ceremony at Jerusalem
