OTTAWA, May 4 (Xinhua) -- Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien met
with visiting Japanese Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori here Thursday morning
on the preparedness of the upcoming G-8 summit. The two leaders compared
notes on the agenda for the summit slated for July in Okinawa, Japan, according
to the Canadian prime minister. In a statement released by Chretien's press
