WA:Duyfken embarks on re enactment voyage

A $3.7 million replica of the Dutch cargo ship Duyfken departs Fremantle on Saturday
to retrace an historic voyage which included the first recorded landing in Australia in
1606.

The 24-metre replica will sail to Indonesia where it will follow the old spice route
before retracing the original trip to the Pennefather River in the Cape York Peninsula.
