Confederate flag sales at on-campus Michigan State U. Rodeo Club event infuriate resident

(The State News) (U-WIRE) EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Margaret Goodly took her 3-year-old son to the largest collegiate rodeo east of the Mississippi River Saturday expecting to see horses and cowboy hats.

Instead, she saw something she did not approve of -- event vendors selling the Confederate flag.

"It was very prominent and visible," said Goodly, an East Lansing resident. "It was on display and my son was with me. I was offended."
