Fed: High Court ex chief condemns mandatory jail as "immoral"

MELBOURNE, Feb 17 AAP - Former High Court chief justice Sir Gerard Brennan has reportedly
condemned as immoral the mandatory sentencing laws in Western Australia and the Northern
Territory.

And a second former High Court judge also slammed the laws, saying the two governments
