NSW: Government urged to boost land for native species

SYDNEY, Jan 24 AAP - A new approach to providing habitats for native species protection
must form part of state government plans to overhaul the National Parks and Wildlife Service
(NPWS), the New South Wales opposition said today.

The Carr government needed to take a much bolder approach if it was to slow down the
rate of native species extinction, opposition environment spokeswoman Peta Seaton said.
