Mayo Clinic establishes telemedicine with Jordan.

On Nov. 16, Mayo will open a permanent video communications link with Jordan. King Hussein Medical Centre and Amman Surgical Hospital, both in Amman, Jordan, and Mayo facilities will be electronically linked via telemedicine.

"This is the first time that physicians from another country will have permanent telemedicine and teleeducation access to Mayo. The link will bring patients and physicians together face-to-face, even though some 6,900 miles separate them.
