QLD: Foster mother fears for girl s welfare, court told

BRISBANE, Oct 19 AAP - A foster mother feared the girl she had cared for risked physical
abuse if she returned to her natural parents, the Brisbane Supreme Court was told today.

The foster mother, who cannot be named to protect the child's identity, is in a tug-of-war
custody battle over the six-year-old girl she has cared for since babyhood.

She has taken legal action to regain custody of the girl, who was returned to her natural
parents in March this year under a Family ...
