Maroon's celebrates anniversary of Peace Treaty.
Following the traditions of the past, the Maroons of Accompong Town, St. Elizabeth celebrated the 255th Anniversary of the signing of the Peace Treaty with the British with customary dress, African songs and dance.
The event, spread over two days began with a civic ceremony at Cudjoe's monument which was attended by government and diplomatic officials.
