FED: Indonesians detain Australian in Irian Jaya

CANBERRA, Sept 25 AAP - An Australian had been detained by Indonesian authorities in Irian
Jaya for allegedly not having valid travel documents, a Department of Foreign Affairs (DFAT)
spokesman said today.

Saul Dalton, 26, of Darwin, was taken into custody by local authorities yesterday in the
remote town of Timka.
