That's what the constituents of Congresswoman Barbara-Rose Collins were looking for when she faced the media last week to defend herself against allegations of poor performance and misuse of staff, office funds and campaign contributions. And given the forgiving nature of African American voters, they probably would've been satisfied with almost any explanation she offered.
