Heat wave turning North Philly into morgue.

Despite several heat alerts this week, North Philadelphia has been the site of the majority of heat-related death. Housing design is a Major factor in these deat.

Yesterday's death of a 74-year-old woman in an apartment in the 1200 block of Chestnut Street brought the city's death toll to 35. She had no air conditioning, no fans and her windows were locked shut.
