Imelda may go blind, says eye doctor.

MANILA--Former first lady Imelda Marcos is losing her vision and may go blind unless treated immediately in the United States, her Filipino doctor said on Thursday.

Manuel Agulto, executive director of the Eye Referral Center in Manila, said the widow of president Ferdinand Marcos was suffering from glaucoma and "can inevitably go blind" if not treated by her chief eye doctor in Boston, Massachussetts.

"We feel that Mrs. Marcos can very well go into that same situation where her vision will be lost ...
