Asian American Studies Booming At S.F. State.

SAN FRANCISCO -- By her own admission, Debbie Lee, a 24-year-old senior at San Francisco State University, feels she led a sort of sheltered life growing up in San Francisco's Chinatown. Although she was surrounded by so much of her culture, Lee said she never had a full sense of what it means to be a Chinese American in today's society.
