Cab Calloway, 86, answers final curtain call.
Cab Calloway, one of the greatest entertainers of the century, died last Friday in a nursing home in Hockesin, Delaware. Prior to his hospitalization, he resided in Westchester County in the town of Greenburgh. According to Nuffie, his wife of almost 50 years, the cause of death was a stroke which he suffered last June and from which he never recovered.
