MEDIA WATCH: `New York Undercover' insults Yoruba religion.
Perhaps it was too good to be true, a New York-based action show, predominantly Black and Hispanic, the latest pop singers doing their thing at a hip club. "New York Undercover," on Fox Channel 5, is one of the hottest shows on television.
We weren't expecting it to solve the problems of the world or even the urban dilemma, but why did they have to dog Yoruba-based religions like they did last Thursday, April 6.
Why didn't someone on the shoe stick up for Yoruba, tell them that phony ...
