The House Republicans are so delirious about being in the majority for the first time in 40 years, they are literally praising themselves to absurd levels. They have taken the results of the Nov. 8 1994 elections to the point where they label themselves revolutionaries and their leaders as the greatest since the founders of our country.

For instance, there is talk that Cong. Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) may be the greatest Speaker of the House since the late Sam Rayburn. Those who offer that notion ...
