Montenegro Protests Yugoslav Troops

CETINJE, Yugoslavia (AP) -- Some 5,000 people -- almost a third of the population of Cetinje -- protested on Friday recent Yugoslav army reinforcements around the city and demanded the military withdraw.

It was one of the first and certainly the largest protest against the Yugoslav army in Montenegro, which along with the much larger republic Serbia makes up Yugoslavia. Montenegro's pro-Western government is at odds with Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic and his military.
