American Film Market Draws Nation's Buyers.
Hollywood's film bazaar, officially known as the American Film Market (AFM), kicked off on Feb. 23 for a week-long marketing of low-budget/hi-action American-made films to the global market. Licensing English language films to cinemas, television and home video, the highly popular Los Angels-based trade group generated an income exceeding $1.4 billion in 1994.
