Marylanders mourn Judge Harry Augustus Cole: Morgan State holds memorial service for alumnus

A delegation of dignitaries will converge upon Morgan State University on Feb. 19 to attend a memorial service for Morgan alumnus Judge Harry Augustus Cole, the first African American to serve as associate judge, Court of Appeals of Maryland, the state's highest court.

Aptly, the service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the auditorium of the Carl Murphy Fine Arts Center, named after the patriarch of the AFRO American Newspaper, ...
