Jordan Fundamentals: Michael Jordan Launches Education Grants Program For Teachers

Basketball superstar Michael Jordan has launched an education grants program that provides grants for teachers in public secondary schools that serve disadvantaged students.

Last Saturday at John Philip Sousa middle school in southeast Washington, Jordan said that the grants program will be funded by a portion of the proceeds from the JORDAN brand, specifically a minimum donation of $1 million a year for the next five years.
